Through an approach based on innovation, quality, and transparency, we have established a strong commitment to our customers and their well-being.
Our main catchphrases at Menguy’s are “Made in France”, because our company (and our production) is 100% French, and “Good & Tasty”, since your pleasure is our mission!
Innovation and the creation of new products
We make a point of continually innovating and creating new products so as to offer the very best to our consumers. This approach is an integral part of the company’s identity and we believe that innovation is critical to ensuring our long-term survival within a demanding competitive environment.
At Menguy’s we demonstrate innovation through the development of unique and tasty recipes, made with carefully selected quality ingredients. In this quest for excellence, we favour short and simple lists of ingredients, keeping superfluous additives such as preservatives to a strict minimum and using flavourings and colourings only where absollutely necessary. In addition, we use a healthy roasting technique for all nuts, deploying a patented toasting process that preserves their nutritional properties while reducing the amount of oil required.

Commitment to healthier, more transparent food
Your health, well-being, and pleasure are at the heart of our mission. We strive to promote high-quality, healthier products, without compromising on taste. For example, displaying the Nutri-score on packaging enables consumers to make informed choices and understand the nutritional benefits of Menguy’s products. When we began stating the Nutri-score of our products in 2019, we were pioneers within the apéritif snack market.
In addition, we are continually working to improve the nutritional profiles of our products. For example, we have worked to reduce the percentage of salt in our recipes, particularly for our Cracky’s (puffed biscuits) and our olives, and we have included unsalted peanuts in our range.
Our aim as a major player in the apéritif market is to propose healthier alternatives to consumers compared with other apéritif snack products on the market. For example, we keep the use of virgin sunflower oil to a strict minimum when cooking the seeds, by deploying a technique whereby we spray the oil onto the seeds. This stands in stark contrast to deep-frying, which reuses and anneals the oil and can result in the formation of neoformed compounds. On the other hand, our technique allows us to use only new, virgin oil on our seeds, avoiding the generation of waste. Healthier than deep-frying, vaporising oil also gives the nuts a better flavour. What’s more, the oil used is categorised as high-oleic and helps to prevent the seeds from going rancid.

Origin of ingredients and food safety
At Menguy’s, we have a special relationship with our partnering producers. This long-standing collaboration guarantees the quality and provenance of the ingredients used in our apéritif snack products, reinforcing the company’s commitment to quality and flavour.
In actual fact, for Menguy’s, the quality of ingredients is an absolute priority. All our products are packaged and manufactured in France, which means we can closely monitor the quality of our raw materials and guarantee the freshness of our products.
The rigorous selection of our ingredients not only ensures the quality of your crunchy appetisers, but also your food safety as a consumer. All our seeds and olives undergo strict quality controls at every stage of production, from harvesting to delivery to the factories – from the ground to your table. This total traceability means we can guarantee impeccable quality and complete safety in all our products. All our production sites are IFS (top level) and BRC (grade A) certified.
Menguy’s quality system relies on a team of 15 people spread across the various sites. They monitor product quality by analysing and releasing raw materials before they are used, then carrying out checks throughout the manufacturing process to ensure product conformity. Finally, finished products are monitored to ensure top quality. Menguy’s can thus ensure total control over all our products.
